This is how the sunset looks from Sunset Cliffs, California. My girlfriend, Nicole, and I watched the sun set together, then I propped up my camera and started shooting. The evening ended with this shot... well right after this shot I (and the camera) got soaked by a huge wave that crashed against the rocks below. My d200 was completely dead for a couple days, but it seems to be recovering now. Hooray! Better on my photoblog.

What a beautiful horse. I approached with a handful of green grass, but the horse didn't pay me any attention. Then I whipped out my camera and curiosity took over. I grabbed this shot, and about 30 others that may be worth looking at. What a photogenic horse! Update: the horse's name is "Doogie."

I always seem to name flower shots some sort of color. That's pretty lame. Do you have any ideas? Should I do something completely abstract? Like, "Flung" or something? I don't even know what flung would mean in this case... or what it means in any case! I've worked myself into a tizzy now. ... So here's a flower, and it's purple. Better on my photoblog.

I've taken tons of photos of this farm. I love the long rows, plus it's in a perfect spot for sunset. The light falls and casts shadows perpendicular to the rows. Neat! Better on my photoblog.
